Microchanneling/Microneedling is a skincare procedure where tiny needles are stamped into the epidermis to create small controlled injuries. As scary as this may sound it actually helps the skin renew itself and heal. The tiny pin pricks trigger your bodies immune response to produce more collagen and elastin. These proteins created cause your skin to look more youthful, firm and smooth. By triggering this reaction it also reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves acne and other scarring, shrinks the look of pores, evens out skin tone, enhances skincare absorption, helps with stretch marks and improves the overall skin texture.
